When is Stream of Hope 2021?

Our 24h-fundraising-stream takes place on the 11th of December 2021. But you can fundraise and sign up whenever you want from the 19th of October 2021.  

Who can participate?

Anyone over the age of 16 can host and set up an event online. Participants can be at any age, but to donate to the Swedish Childhood Cancer Fund you must be 16 year or older.


Do I have to stream?

Nope! You’re welcome to play games and raise awareness for the Swedish Childhood Cancer Fund without streaming online. If you want to fundraise without streaming, you can use social media to tell friends and family that you are playing and encourage them to donate to your event.


How do I stream?

You can stream on any live streaming platform, like Twitch, YouTube or Facebook.

On our website you can find a helpful guide how to get started and how to set up your stream. When registered to Stream of Hope you will receive all information needed to get started.


What games can I play?

All type of games! Video games, card games, board games, or whatever game you like! We request that you avoid games containing sexual content or gore. If you are unsure if your game is allowed or not, please take a look at our list with allowed and disallowed games.

Playing content that is deemed objectionable will result in you being removed from the Stream of Hope campaign.


What can I do during my event?

You are welcome to show any content you choose, provided you follow our “Rules of Conduct”.

How can I donate to Stream of Hope?

To make a donation during Stream of Hope, watch one of the many charity streames on Dec 11th and make a donation by clicking on the donation button in the live stream. You can see all streamers attending on our website. You can also donate by clicking here and follow the steps. Payments can be made via credit card, debit card, paypal or swish.

Why support the Swedish Childhood Cancer Fund?

Every year, about 300 children and teens in Sweden develop some form of cancer. In the world, approximately 400 000 children and teens get cancer every year. The Swedish Childhood Cancer Fund works to fight childhood cancer and ensures that affected children, youth and their families receive the care and the support they need.

Our vision is to eradicate childhood cancer. With your support, we can continue to help families and contribute to paediatric cancer research with the aim of eradicating childhood cancer.

How will the money be used?

Donations are used for research and training, advice and support, and information, the three missions of the Swedish Childhood Cancer Fund. We ensure that your donation is used where it’s needed the most.
